Spore is a game where you start as a single celled organism swim around dodging predators, while eating food. After you lay an egg you go into the editor and are given some tools where you can change your creature to your hearts content with the tools you have. Your creature eventually evolves onto land, evolves to get a better brain where your creatures (as a race) now have a hut. Eventually they will have a city, then a UFO where you can travel to planets in the solar system or to planets anywhere in the galaxy.
