If possible, provide icons in SVG

Hi.
In case you are designing icons in a vector-based program that can store in SVG (like Inkscape), it would be nice if you could provide the icons in native SVG format as well.
Rationale: I might include a SVG renderer in FO 0.4, so that icons can be scaled to any arbitrary size.

Please note that the SVGs have to contain the real vector format, do not convert a PNG to SVG, this would be no help at all, as this SVG simply contains the pixeldata encoded in XML.

Is there a way to convert .EPS or .AI vector files into .SVG?

Sure, Illustrator can do this.
