If I have the time, and you mention size and format (128x128? Alpha channel?) I can do some planets for you folks.

Also, what about a main logo for FreeOrion?

Ace... not to be rude, or anything, but I think they need planetary background scenes like in this thread. I mean, isn't it fairly easy to generate a sphere and put a png map on it?? Do some cool planetary background art... ok??
