uhm... is there a way to attach images to a post? or do you have some webspace for uploads? i got some pics & also audio-samples, but only on disc right now

hm, seems you don´t have webspace... doh, does anyone know an easy free SFTP-prog? -_-

as a general side comment, whoever is in charge of the freeorion.org site should look into setting up public FTP access. Most hosts allow that. People can upload their images, screenshots (good for bug reports too), sample graphics, textures, anims, etc., without getting their own dedicated web space just to show you a picture.

We do have separete site for graphteam to post their work, but not one direclty connected to forum- we assume people can find webspace to put their work to show. There are lots of freewebspace services available, though with ads, but I think we can cope with them.

They'd also be able to upload their own pr0n and warez. Or use it as an image server for their fark photoshop contest entry.

all of this is stuff i did for the freeAC project (also known as Stella Polaris), which i left because there was no progress at all i don´t know if you have use for any of it, but i´d also do some new stuff on demand, if you like.

i vistit a multimedia college and there are courses in 3d/2d-graphics/modeling, gamedesign, music/sound etc., so i could do various allround stuff, but i´m not that good at any of it because i´m not that specialized yet. still at amateur lvl, but learning
