Twenty-sixth game on the multiplayer slow game server

Experimentors in 25th fall so new thread for the next game is open. This game will continue use of weekly test build, still we need to decide on game rules.

Planned game start date will be announced.

    Count me in.


    Any chance we can pick the species instead of random? If more players fancy the idea, we could raffle the order in which players pick their species.

    Regarding game mode, maybe open a poll or lets wait for someone more opinionated.

    What do you mean by "raffle" ?
    A bidding turn before the game start ? With Influence as a currency ?

    I wasn't sure about the English meaning. I mean choose randomly who picks first.

    I am very busy at the moment. But if the game starts in 2 - 3 weeks I should be able to play.

    I like any kind of team play. Don't have to be tower defense with one team but any kind of 3 teams again each other would be nice.

    One last thing: If experimentors are on, starting turn have to be something late after turn 100 :x

    P.S: If Trith are switched of, random species would be fine for me...

    I have no trouble waiting 3 weeks to start game.
    Team play would be fine for me. For that we need 4 (2v2) or 6 (3v3 or 2v2v2).
    If there is war between players, I would put Experimentors turn at 200.

    I 2nd most of this. Though I'll be happy to take trith or replicon if either are considered problematic, and we are manually assigning races. I like the idea of a non-ultra-competive setting while bugs are ironed out. Fixed teams would be fine. I'm expecting to be a way in January, so I'd probably need a team mate controlling my empire near the end.

    Here's an idea: diplomacy changes disabled. Everybody at peace. 75% production costs, 100% science costs. Guarantee habitable planet. High natives. Very high monsters. Monster nests always spawn wild. Monsters can stop in system. Fairly sparse ring galaxy, with people spaced out better than in current scripting (higher minimum distance between capitals, start with 20?).

    Wouldn't actually enable experimentors in such scenario. Seems like they would either hose one particular person or give them home field advantage, depending on stage they activate. But have copious amounts of monsters to spice things up but not to the extreme, not to overwhelm anybody hopefully (maybe should be high not very high?)

    Trolling only slightly, would legit play something like this. But likely not many peoples' cup of tea. It is clearly meant to force people going after scientific victory. But some griefing possible due to "peaceful" competition over natives and living space.

    Would probably finish before January so no worries for wobbly to delegate.

    Picking races, maybe. Test game assigns people in random order so they get to pick starting race for actual game in that order determined by (first if there are more) test game?

    Though most likely I'm showing myself out. Would be fifth wheel without sixth person for team play anyway

    I suppose I will be ready to start the game next week but not sure if we have enough people currently.
