The criteria for when to do a 0.0.x release are even fuzzier than they are for an 0.x release, but I don't think "any build that seems not totally broken after a week" is the right choice...eleazar wrote:I just played for several hours without hitting something i needed to fix. Maybe we can come up with a system that makes it easier to do stable releases? Like if vezzra does a release, and we wait a week, and there are no major issues, then we "promote" it to a stable release, and proclaim it.
That said, we could try to do releases more frequently. When they can be done, IMO, is dependent on having no large sets of changes being only partially complete at the same time. That is, it should be feature and content "stable" in the sense that nothing very in-progress and effectively broken.
