Where I can get the testing versions?

#1 Post by jadwin »

I always used sourceforge.net, but there was a readme file telling that new versions are on github now.

I'm not able to download the last to versions on sourceforge.net the download is finished bevor it is complete.

These threads are updated whenever a build is released:

http://www.freeorion.org/forum/viewtopi ... 889#p86889 (Windows)

While the code is now hosted on github, you can still get test builds from sourceforge: https://sourceforge.net/projects/freeor ... rion/Test/

The numbered releases are also available on github: https://github.com/freeorion/freeorion/releases

You must have accidentally gotten into the download folder for the SDK, that's the only location that has such a readme file, and it only refers to the FreeOrion SDKs. Those are no longer hosted on sourceforge, but on github now.

There has been no such change for the weekly test builds. They are still located at the same place where they have been for the last several years...
