One way (maybe the only way?) is to go to an image hosting site such as imageshack and upload your image there. Then, take the link they give you and put it in between an [img] and a [/img] when posting here.

Right below the submit button, you can browse for a file and then add it.

My guess as well, but I wasn't absolutely certain. There are no links in his profile and the question might be of interest to others as well, so I didn't delete it.
