Hey Guys, I cant even get, Free Orion to start. I have a fresh download of the very latest version.

When I start It I get This...

This Application Failed To Start Because The Application Configuration Is Incorrect. Re-Installing May Fix This Problem.

I have Re-Downloaded, and Re-Installed Several Times, and Nothing Fixes It

What operating system are you using? XP, Vista, Windows 7?

Assuming it is windows, what version of the .NET framework do you have installed? See: here.

From where did you download FreeOrion?

Im Running Windows XP

Edit: Also, I attempted to wrap my head around that article, and I still had no clue how to use it.

Edit II: actually now that I looked at it it looks like Im running 1.1

Assuming that refers to your .NET version, I'm guessing you have a rather old computer. It's likely you won't have sufficient OpenGL support to run FreeOrion (1.5 is generally required as of now). That said, you can try downloading the latest available .NET framework from Microsoft (probably 3.5 or 4.0 ?), which might let FreeOrion start working.

Okay thank you. I will try to update it. And yes, my PC is from 2004
