 Post subject: Ships Startings With 1 Structure

I just built one, and it showed the structure as 50. Are you sure you didn't get into a battle? What the fleet window shows is current structure; mouse-over the structure icon to get info about the ship's max structure.

As soon as I make it and it pops up, it says its structure is 13...but on the next turn it jumps to 55?

I'm not totally sure why your ship is starting with a structure of 1, but the reason it's at max after 1 turn is because it's being repaired by the Orbital Drydock at that location, which should be being mentioned in the sitrep.

Nope....Every time i produce that ship they always start out with way less then 55 (50 base plus 5 special) structure till the next turn....No enemies are in sight and the site-rep says nothing special.

I have a saved game that can prove it. How can i export my saved game to post it for testing?

Also...whats the difference between Starlanes that are green and the ones that have moving dots? (Not movement dots) I think it has something to do with "Supply" but im not understanding what it is or what it means or what it does...

Its almost like the structure is "Charging" (I could expect a newly produced ship to have 0 shields and showly charge up for battle each turn) like planets do with there shields when you invade a system.

Solid starlanes in your empire's colour indicate resource supply. Moving dots indicate fleet supply. Planets connected by resource supply lines can exchange resources. Ships in range of resource supply lines can be refueled (or repaired, given adequate technology).

Locate the .sav file in the directory discussed on this page, zip it, and attach it to a post or put it on an upload site if too large to post directly.
