Hello,

I've been playing FreeOrion a little bit, and realized how bad the AI suck. I thought about player a multiplayer game. But there's only a empty list of LAN games. And then there's the one I'm supposed to enter in. It asks for an IP address. Is there a list of IP addresses i choose from so i may play a multilayer game. I've been wanting to play with actual people for a long time. Can someone help me out?

To play a multiplayer game, you'd need to arrange with someone else to set up and run a server and then connect to it by entering its IP address. There are no public hosted games, and no server browser or automated list of servers.

Honestly, why isn't there. When will you guys have public hosting?

No one has volunteered to run a server, and there's no master server system written yet, so the game server would need to be restarted for every game. There's also probably insufficient interest to warrant the effort to set these things up if it would take time from other development.
