feature request commenting

#1 Post by vincele »

Hello,

I searched a bit, but did not find out why I can't comment on a feature request.

I wanted to add a comment saying I'm working on this one:
https://sourceforge.net/p/freeorion/fea ... uests/126/
All the patches I'll provide for freeorion will be released under the GPL v2 or later license.
Let's unleash the dyson forest powa!

I guess you need to register an account with sourceforge...?

I just went through the annoyance of logging back in to Sourceforge (I mean, I check "keep me logged in" and haven't cleared cookies) and doing their outdated "your password is old" thing, and I can't comment there either. Is it restricted in some way to project members?

Any code or patches in anything posted here is released under the CC and GPL licences in use for the FO project.

Might be restricted so you can only comment on your own bug reports / feature requests? Not sure... Don't think anything has been changed about that within the FreeOrion project settings, though sourceforge might have changed a default access restriction to avoid spam?
