3 games, different feels

There once was a game (Feb 2015). It was fast, which was good. It had lousy explanations, and it seemed that many parts did not work (tech track incomplete?) and the species were unbalanced. Someday maybe you could tighten up that and publish it? Cause I miss it and had huge fun with it for a year or so.
There once was a game (Sept 2015). It was slower, but many more parts worked and much better balanced. Could you someday finish and publish that?
Now there is another game forming. The play is different, the speed slower, the tactics changed, and currently it is horribly unbalanced, though that could change.

My point is that by changing the rules you have created 3 different games, and the first two were good, and maybe the third will be, but they all feel and operate differently.

Further, each game has itself many modes. If you optimise for your playing style you may hurt others. Some like 150 stars and 6 AI players. I sometimes like 30 stars and 6 players. This has a totally different feel.

They're all the same game, we're working on finishing to publish that game.

If you don't like new features, be specific.

If you're having problems with processing speed, be specific as there have been massive improvements since Sept 2015.

If you think the current version is unbalanced, be very specific, as we're prepping for a Release right at the moment and I'm in the middle of a series of balancing tweaks to make it more balanced, but if you're just going to be very vague it looks like you're either trolling or blowing smoke.

I'm not sure the official policy on forking is, but if you were a programmer and had sufficient time on your hands you could probably polish up an older version to your satisfaction.
