Hi. Im currently playing 8041.
I think the current possibilities for managing production lacks usability when the number of colonies in your empire grows. The production queque is too big and unmanageable. If you have production queued up for the majority of your colonies it is difficult to get an overview of what kind of production is ordered in which colony.
I would like to suggest a Civilization-style interface, where each colony have their own separate construction queue, that makes it possible easy to determine what kind of productions have already been queued and to prioritize among the queued items. The overall prodcution queue might be retained to facilitate prioritizing among queued items just like today.

Adding a button on the production screen to show just items being produced at the selected colony is a longstanding would-be-nice feature. Patches welcome...
