Test Version 2015-10-12.f596343 on win 7 64 bit: No Cursor

#1 Post by Damiac »

So I tried the latest test version, and I have no mouse cursor in the game window. But it gets weirder: In certain menus in options(It was hard to get to options with an invisible cursor!), the mouse cursor appears. In those menus, hovering over something and popping up a tooltip also hides the mouse cursor.

I struggled my way through starting a new game with an invisible cursor, however in the game the cursor once again vanished, and the icons on the top row were all flickering. At that point I gave up on this version.

Are there any log files or anything I should submit that might help you guys?

The only thing that wuld probably be helpful is a specific build or revision where it starts happening.

Also, make sure your video drivers are fully updated.

Hi Geoff,

It starts with the [build 2015-09-28.6d72e6a] for me. I reported it in this topic: viewtopic.php?f=28&t=9795, but as stated, the problem is fixed when I switch the graphic card (Intel HD to AMD Radeon).

For MatGB, it seems it happened a little bit earlier. viewtopic.php?f=25&t=9768

I downoladed the latest build [2015-10-26.b4dab97], and the problem is still here (a little bit reduced though) if I switch back to the Intel HD (whatever, it's better to use the Radeon :p)
I release every updated file under the CC-BY-SA 3.0 license.
