It's a nice start, but obviously needs some more work. I like the palette and wouldn't mind, if there were some shoulders :)

YAY. I've been wasting time again. I post this mostly in response to a request from a friend (you know who you are) and because also FO got borked, and I wanted something to do.

Hmm... after seing Roxanne I thought that if we ever get to a point where making a fully-fledged manual will seem like a good idea, I'd say you'd be the one to illustrate it, Blizzard-like (you know, sketches on pages) or like the Warhammer Fantasy Battle manual (also pictures in different parts of manual, usually quite funny). Of course you realize that then the females... no, scratch that, EVERYONE should be appropriately dressed :)

What have I been up to this time? Lazing about? Not contributing to FO? What could I possibly be doing? Well...

Actually no, I've just been doodling again. I have practiced with 2d art in a variety of styles, but I was never much of a digital or 3d artist. I think I like texturing though (modeling scares me), and I'll learn eventually, in no small part by mimicking people who know what they're doing (pd).

I'm going to go work on more Gyisache stuff: they won't draw themselves, unfortunately.

I'm so glad people picked up on that, I thought it might be over their heads :P

So I thought it was time to show something off again, like these quick renders of some of my choicest 3D models. Also I lost a bunch of files to a virus, but it's no biggie, because most of it was on photobucket. Yay photobucket :)

O yes, I almost forgot to mention that these are supposed to be placed in a decrepit 1920's style insane asylum as a final group project for school. I mostly did the textures (but I did model the tub)

You are clearly making good progress. I'm glad you've figured UVs and texturing out, that's something many people never do.
I'm currently adding Rhino(Nurbs modeller) to my toolset, besides doing a lot of drawing and form studies.

Hey it's a brain! I have one of those!

Argh, your stuff is so much better than mine... No surprise there I guess. :)

Also, the computer has borked again (I just reinstalled windows on that thing!) and I have lost all my information (again). No biggie. I did lose a nebula I was working on but that was it.

I intend to use my new found skills to build ships for species and stuff, I'm sure it will come in handy for making some new models.
