For a Match Number of AI-Players can get set and there an AI-Player-Species in another MAtch can be non-player-Species - what does that mean for the Behavior of Species resp for Code?
EG Player-Planet match Requirements for Size resp Suitability but that does not concerns Species its generic Abilities and Behaviors. Do AI-Player-Species attempt Domination else not?
Q: What differ Player-AI-Speci from Non-Player-Speci?

Pure Cyan harms PhotoReceptors doubtless - even half Portion appears mysterious.

Just like you, an AI can capture the planet of a non-playable species, but they can not start as one. You can look at default/species.txt and see if a given species is marked as "Native" or "Playable".Adamant wrote:For a Match Number of AI-Players can get set and there an AI-Player-Species in another MAtch can be non-player-Species
There are a few places where the AI will evaluate species abilities, such as for piloting ships, and how good an empire population is at research/industry can affect its behavior some, and the AI does have a little bit of hardcoded preferences regarding Acirema, but that's about it -- an AI empire will not have a different "persona" because of its starting species. The different "aggression" levels for AIs, which will be mostly according to the galaxy option at the start of the game (with some variance), is intended to be a bit of a 'persona' difference.- what does that mean for the Behavior of Species resp for Code?
They do attempt, yes, but they're not so great at it.Do AI-Player-Species attempt Domination else not?
