Hello, FreeOrion community. I have almost fully packaged FreeOrion for Debian, in three packages (libgigi, freeorion, freeorion-data).

I intend to release public packages for the Debian archive, but I would like first to allow wider testing, as they are SVN snapshots.

The packages do not have sound support, as FMOD is a completely non-free library (but I guess you already know), so I have disabled it entirely, until OpenAL or whatever other replacement is available.

I had to make some changes to both GiGi and FreeOrion, and some of them are suitable for upstream. Should I contact tzlaine directly about both, only for GiGi, or maybe a developer list?

Maybe it will be nice to set up a wiki page with instructions for Debian installation as well.
