Stargates have been built on the following six (6) planets:
Goth I
Almach IV
Miranda I
Rome I
Algedi I
Algedi II
I have set to foci to ‘Stargate’ on ONLY the following two (2) planets:
Goth I – source star system
Almach IV - destination star system
I have ‘produced’ a Stargate Activator on Goth I and have left a single ship ‘holding’ in this star system.
I have ‘produced’ a Stargate Beacon on Almach IV. There are no other ships in route to, or holding at this star system.
Some Background Information:
I built my first destination stargate on Algedi I. Unfortunately, I was locked out of setting the focus for this stargate because the planet in occupied by the Beige Goo. I did know that the Beige Goo are restricted to either a Farming or an Industry focus, but I thought the Stargate focus would be added, since I was able to build one on that planet. Such was not the case.
I built my second destination stargate on Algedi II. I thought that, perhaps, the stargate system did not work because one can not send a ship directly to the Algedi star system from the Goth star system, because the shortest distance between them is not completely connected by starlanes. (The two (2) star systems are completely connected by starlanes, but by a much longer route.)
I built the other three (3) destination stargates for additional testing purposes.
