Map should reflect sitreps

#1 Post by UnifiedStars »

I sent two of my ships into a deep space system outside of my detection range and the sitreps indicated that a battle occurred, but the map didn't display any enemy ships in the system (Usually the system will be updated even when your ship is destroyed).

#3 Previous turn; as you can see my supply lines extend past the deep space system, so I know it was blockaded the next turn.

#4 The culprits were 2 Etty ships.

Hmm, Geoff and I had gotten a bit done on this general point a while, but thinking back perhaps we were focused on making sure that stealthed ships got properly exposed if they actually attacked. I've noticed it myself as well, that sometimes I would expect the map to show a scanlined enemy fleet but there would be none. If anyone else has looked at this code recently and wants to take this on, great; otherwise, I'll plan to look into it some more as I get back up to speed here.
If I provided any code, scripts or other content here, it's released under GPL 2.0 and CC-BY-SA 3.0
