Several Acronyms are used in to streamline conversation about this project.

Important acronyms are in bold.

FreeOrion Specific Acronyms

EP = Environmental Preference, Humans have the EP of Terran Planets.
FO = FreeOrion
PP = Production Points, the industrial capacity per turn that a planet or system can put towards a project
PSR = Planetary Supply Routes, Star Lanes that allow resources and supplies to travel between systems to different planets.
RP = Research Points
RPS = Rocks, Paper, Scissors.
SL = Star Lane
SLJ = Star Lane Jumps

SR = short range, direct-fire weaponry that is good against ships, but bad against fighters.
PD = short range, direct-fire weaponry that is good against fighters and incoming LR, but bad against ships.
LR = long range, indirect-fire weaponry that is good against ships, but bad against fighters.

AFaIK = As Far as I Know (A statement with a disclaimer on truthfulness)
BtW = By the Way (A statement with a disclaimer on relevance)
IIRC = If I Recall Correctly
IMHO = In My Humble Opinion (A statement with a disclaimer on objectiveness)
IMO = In My Opinion (A statement with a disclaimer on objectiveness)
NP = No Problem
FPO = For Position Only (Describes an image used temporarily to fill a role, until something better can be made)

FWIW = For What It's Worth (A statement with a disclaimer on importance)
