There is an online translator called F.O.O.T. (for FreeOrion Online Translations) available at http://fo.lukaszk.in5.pl. It allows to make a translation of all FO's strings and to generate a stringtable file. Anyone can help in translation.

F.O.O.T. supports any number of languages (they can be added) including Polish, Russian, French, Dansk, German and Spanish - all translations available in this wiki on 19.11.2007 have been added to F.O.O.T. database.

F.O.O.T. can generate stringtables for any language it can translate in ISO-8859-X, WINDOWS-125X or UTF-8 codepage. To do so, you have to go to the Stringtable [1] section at F.O.O.T. page and just click appropriate link. You can change codepage (or even replace characters) using form in that section.

Stringtable language can be chosen in Language section.
