lol, interesting game... looks really impressive, the only thing that bothers me is that it's an EA game (I really feel sorry for the staff :P) - but let's see what finally comes up (just look at MoO3 via the ingame-editor: all the screens and stuff that got cut last-minute... it's still in there......

hmm, like Kosslowski, I'm pretty late to this discussion... guess I'll just throw a note in (although I like many of the current ideas -> don't like micro'ing that much): remember how resupply worked in Space Empires IV ? Big, almost unarmed cargo-transporters (requires some kind of cargo-hulls: no ...

I like Impalers idea - let the admin choiche how many seconds / minutes (or picks if we go that way) every player has... about watching: Don't you think your human enemies can gather quite a lot of information just by watchin? :-) how about mini-games implemented in the waiting screen, maybe a card ...

I would like to see the tactical combat as a combination of Total War, MoO3 and Star Wars: Rebellion (this one hasn't been mentioned yet). I think the scale of MoO3 was about right (with zooming). SW:R had good Orders / Standard Operating Procedures type interface with pausable real time. I prefer ...

Guiguibaah also makes a good point: 1. Open space combat would be a chaotic melee since there is little place to hide. A fleet of large, cumbersome ships would work best in this region. 5-6 turns most. 2. Cluttered space combat in asteroid belts / planetary rings / Solar Coronas or Black holes / Ne...

don't forget that many people love huge, epic battles, thats why many people complained about Total War games [setting troopsize to 500 men was a little approach, but it still missed an epic feeling]... and with a semi-tb/rt engine (like BotF) and a handling-system similiar to MoO3 it won't be too d...

1: well, I would like to see that every shipyard has a fixed ammount to spend dependent on size and tech... PP are spent equally on all projects within the shipyard, empire-PP distribution like food-distribution? (with the option to spend only a percentage of empire-PP for shipbuilding) ... just a f...

just a little thing: what about designing fighters? what about replacing lost fighters? (how about a carrier-stockpile and in the possibility to place mini-shipyards on a ship that fill up the stockpile fleet-wide [e.g. 10 fighters / turn, depending on the size&costs]). I really missed that poin...

uh, that one is easy :P Just switch one switch on for... say, 5 minutes, then switch it off, switch another one on and get the hell up. Now we've one lamp shining, correct? Now touch the 2 lamps that are off - the one that is hot was can be switched one by the first switch we used. The shining one c...

Wow, just did a fresh rebuild... looks... just great :) @skdiw: ehm, skdiw, some of your "suggestions" doesn't deal with the galaxy map, therefore they are offtopic. "I didn't hear any replys regarding my ideas so I'm posting again" - and that allows you to spam? :) Most of your ...
