But maybe a colonial word could be kept as a happy colonial world a bit longer with morale boosters... in theory it could include things like decreasing taxes (would cause a morale drop when the colony becaomes imperial and the tax goes through the roof ;) ) or maybe give the planet more money to sp...

well yes... when you but it that way it would make sense... but I still think there should be some kind of "carrot (for the donkey)" to research other types in later game... like having some special tech you can only implement to a certain type of ship ... not anything that would shake the balance o...

But if they were made "too" expensive, then it would take away the reason for anyone ever building or researching them if there wasnt some huge bonus for doing so... thus there would be little or no reason to even implement such a research in the game.

Free Windows Vista CD Bomb When dropped to a planet, it makes everyone want to install a new operating system just because it has new cool interface. But after a few hours of usage, the whole planets productivity drops to near zero and population is slowly decreased by series of frustration suicide...

:oops: :oops: I've got the copyright cops chasing me now :evil: Never been a fan of Voyager series (seen only about half of the first season and got bored). Anyway, if it's in Star Trek it must be realistic that some race can build such a watery device, and thus must be implemented in FO ! :wink:

Just an idea ... not so organic, but a liquid ship? for all those fish people? it has a huge gravity engine in the middle pulling the liquid (water?) to the center and moving the ship. basicly it would just look like a big ball of .... water... Causing corrosion for metal ships and Cholera for organ...

What about "aliens" ... like in the movie... create a strong race designed for a quick and complete annihilation of a planets population, without too much structural damage... maybe without the self-breeding possibility(?) Breeding them would probably need high skills in DNA manipulation and genetic...
