Re: DSO missing from command line

Now this is very confusing. I tried to bisect the commits, but they all worked, even the one I started this posting with. Then I pulled git to the newest version and that worked as well, but only in my extra checkout directory. In my main game dict, the same version won't work with the same message ...

Re: DSO missing from command line

Hmmm, interesting, I made a checkout with 2017-07-03.a5f0edc, a build I know that worked cause it was involved with my last playfeedback post, is indeed compiling now without complains.

Re: DSO missing from command line

Hey, were you rebuilding in your old build directory? Perhaps make clean, then delete CMakeCache.txt and rerun cmake and then make I had a clean install of Linux Mint - KDE - 18.2 on the new system. I tried what you said but it didn't help. I must admit I'm not sure how to clone a older git version,...

Re: DSO missing from command line

Hi,
I tried the latest commit, nothing changed. I guess by what you said that the problem is located in the system update and I might be missing some program that isn't mentioned by cmake.

DSO missing from command line

Hi there! I did a major hardware update and just tried compiling (4fff4c1) on my new Ryzen 1600, Mint 18.2 KDE. Working fine with -j3, but failed going: /usr/bin/ld: CMakeFiles/freeorionca.dir/AI/AIInterface.cpp.o: undefined reference to symbol '_ZNSt7__cxx1112basic_stringIcSt11char_traitsIcESaIcEEa...

Re: Logistics Facilitator not working?

Hello, just tried the effect of LF at other location. On the second view, it works alright! SA got damaged 285/465 - with LF it recovered to 313/465 after the battle and showed +151 recovery rate - without LF it didn't recover after battle and showed +94 recovery rate Was somewhat still used to the ...

Re: Logistics Facilitator not working?

Hey, Turn212 SA(Scattered Asteroid) 7/465 and LF(Logistics Facilitator) 314/355 got damaged at brog delta together with other ships as reported in combat report. After the battle SA was at about only 26/465 if I recall it right. That's where I was sure I got a bug. I retreated LF and SA to Brog alph...

Logistics Facilitator not working?

Hello! I just tried to make use of a logistics facilitator and it won't repair in version 2017-07-03.a5f0edc. The LF was itself involved in the battle turn212. After the battle the scattered asteriod was heavy damaged and I retreated it to the next planet with orbital drydock, together with the LF. ...

Re: Big galaxy try

would be deathly dull to be playing a multiplayer game then someone 'wins' because they had higher RP output and didn't turn all their worlds to production. We've talked about lots of ideas for replacing/upgrading it,a ll of which would need to inform opponents that you were on the way (eg building...

Re: Big galaxy try

At some point, the time saving the game took longer than the time to calculate the turn. Switch to an uncompressed save format. Probably binary is best, as the uncompressed save for a game that big would be massive. Does the RAM usage drop if you save, quit, and reload the game? I'd be surprised if...

Thing is that 250k is one of the twenty rp blocks, all together 5M rp and 1000 turns to win with more than 4k rp/turn, what I think is a bit long.
I would prefer something between 250k-750k.

Big galaxy try

Hello, 2017-05-04.9a775f1 is the version. I just played a 5000 systems game with 40 ai and low planet density. I was surprised about the good speed. Thought I wouldn't come far but it worked well, now reached turn 250 it's getting a bit laggy but no surprise on my old machine. Speed greatly increase...
