I always thought it would be cool to take over one of your one man fighters and play the combat out like a Tie Fighter or X-Wing game. That would be really cool. Not possible probably, but really cool. If you were in control of one of your ships, it would definately make at least having one, one man...

but what if you have 10 planets with two races on each planet. Each planet has 50% klackon 50% psilon. What happens if you set each planet to "I want klackons here". Then nothing would move? Then you're stuck with two populations on each planet which is what we were trying to avoid in the ...

I did not like in Moo3 how one race ALWAYS hated another race. It limits the game variations in my view. There is always a fish/lizard war, or a human/mechanical war. I would not mind if a cassus belli were to be randomized at the beginning of each game, but each game should be different, in my opin...

another disadvantage to tugs compared to carriers is that a carrier can mask the full size of your armada. Who knows what's in a carrier unless there has been some espionage work.

I like the idea of using both

well, here is more of a math problem than a riddle, but I found it interesting nonetheless:

A car is traveling at 30 mph for an indeterminate distance. The car makes the return trip the same indeterminate distance at 20 mph. What is the average speed of the car over the roundtrip.

A bed is correct... Try: A man goes into a hardware store to buy something for his house. When asked the price, the clerk replies, "the price of one is twenty-four cents, the price of forty-four is forty-eight cents, and the price a hundred and forty-four is seventy-two cents. What is the man b...

Statistics

I was playing a game of MOO1 last night and 4 races including myself were fighting over the same planet...must have changed hands 10 times. Point of this post: It would be cool (I've seen this so much so maybe it should be Iwbc(?))..... Iwbc if statistics about the amount of times a planet has been ...

AQ - I think the semi-personal attacks and attacks against project management will just get worse with time. I appreciate the way you handle the "controversey", but I think you are wasting your time defending yourself and the project repeatedly every day. If people aren't happy with the wa...

Bold statement to say this game's economy is not like any MOO game, when in fact MOO 1 did not have ANY planet detail and very limited economic model. MOO 3 had VERY limited planet detail (at least that you controlled with any consistency). Maybe you meant that this game is unlike any MOO 2 you've e...

@Krikkitone

That idea scares me because I think players would purposely delay the tech advance in order to abuse individual planet production. There would be an advantage in being able to queue individual planets as opposed to an empire wide queue and the player may abuse that ability.

#1 Global build queues with no local if a player has the option to manually override global queues locally, then obviously there will be a benifit to doing so, thus forcing everyone to do so, thus creating micromanagement hell. #2 Specific placement I just personally do not like the idea of being ab...

ultimately in the end of the game, you will reach the point that you are just delaying...that your winning will be a forgone conclusion. Any way you look at it, no matter how many star systems, planets, galaxies, dimensions, universes, etc you have, eventually someone has to win, and it will be fair...
