Empires Window: scroll or compact?

Would it be possible to add a scroll bar to the Empires window, and/or make it more compact somehow? Maybe replace the at war/at peace/allied squares in three columns with the corresponding symbol in the empire color? That way there'd be a single column for diplomacy status. This may be obvious, but: Currently, there's no guarantee a chaff ship will be killed in any of the three combat rounds. In the current multi-player game, against one maintenance ship i had: 2 MS Frigates 1 "Martyr" (empty BSH) 1 "Mini-Carrier" (BMH w/ 3 fighters & 1 SAP) The Martyr lasted 4 turns. ...

Would someone please refresh my memory where (on OS X) one finds the log file? <user home directory>/Library/Application Support/FreeOrion That's the default location, unless you've manually changed that in the options. This would certainly require thorough research of fuel parts. Recent fuel changes mean SGH and larger hulls can't carry enough fuel to jump even medium sized gaps between supply.

That would also restrict the number system drop troops. What value would suggest? Um. Comsats and troop drops seem different to us ignorant outsider...
