Geoff, pls add at least one theory of each other category as requirement for transcendency.

Like transcendent architecture is needed for Singularity of Transcendence.

Thus to achieve transcendence you had to have researched all categories, not just learning. Else learning becomes TOO powerfull.

If its killable, its ok for me. I remember that one gaming fair just a year after that boom of nagging lill toys which wanted to be taken care at all times.. At one place they sold this thingies for cheap. So a guy was standing there, buying one, getting his swiss knife out, and hitting that toy aga...

* the assistent must be able to try and avoid beeing shoot, and if shoot die horribly^^.

DEATH to the pokemons.

JamieK, the problem isn't to allow the Ai to grow to such a point. The problem we try to tackle is the snowball effect: in most games, success is breeding even more success, and loss is breeding even more loss. So if you have a lead in technology, you usually get better in researching, increasing yo...

I assume your "theories" are in reality clusters of related theories, right? Cause 16 theories looks a bit short for me, especially if there are so large "gaps" between them.

Away from that I like it ^^.

Hmm, "better" or saver" isn't always the same as more expensive. I'm living with my wife and kid in a very luxurious neighborhood. Well, in the "worst" house of the neighborhood, but hey :). Its funny to compare our nice family car with the cars of our neighbors, including Mercedes, Ferrari and Alph...

I'd like to throw in something: in science thread we stumbled over the importance of max_pop for all the other meters. As all other meters are multiplied with your current_pop, and current_pop is capped by max_pop i'd ask you to stay civilized with max_pop increases. Else we can invent as much techs...

K. OK guys, you did read Aquitaines announcement? Well, there are a lot of suggestions in this thread already. I'd ask the writers of them to pls reposte them here, but following the guidelines: - XML - requirements rules (no refinement except for refinement...) - no changes to current_science, or G...

@Ran Taro

Many of the older members of this board are real MoO fans. Some of us waited literally for years for MoO3. Well, I suppose you can understand that the deep disappointment about this game makes some people extremely "triggerhappy" if they hear that name. :twisted:

OK, can someone clarify pls if what drek says is correct? Cause in the DD its written different. Suppose it wasn't changed after the +10 bonus to everything for the homeworld was worked out ^^. OK, so lets look at the new data: The current pop of the homeworld is 22.5 (75% of its max pop), the max p...

OK, so if I see it correctly, the starting conditions are like: The current pop of the homeworld is 15 (75% of its unmodified max pop), the max pop is 30 (20 for superb average, +10 for homeworld). The current sci meter is at 2.25 (75% of the unmodified max science), while the max sci meter is at 13...

All the till now mentioned ideas sound good, but we will have to bring them to a common fluff soon. Another thing that I want to mention: Zanzibar and some other already proposed techs with up to +35% on the meter. Remember, guys: the max production of RP should be around 20 times of the starting pr...

@longhornextreme: well, we have an ourobouros here (a snake that bites its own tail). The other categories will ask us soon: how will the RP curve look like? How much RP can my mid game researches cost? We can't answer that if we don't have an idea about this ourself. The way you described it, would...
