The problems are probably due to the number of stars and the number of data the program has to process.

Play with less stars, is an obvious solution.

A) Make content changes freely, then at some later date worry about bringing the AI up to speed.

B) Coordinate changes with Dilvish to try to keep the AI continually competitive.
We could do A) in test builds (i.e. the ones Vezzra compiles from SVN) and B) in release builds.

I very seldom find that i pay attention to fuel in FO. Sometimes a scout will survive long enough to run out of fuel, and then i'm forced to pay attention to it -- and it is annoying. It is easy to forget about a scout while you are waiting for it to rebuild some fuel. Sure that problem could be pa...

Ultimately, i'd like to get rid of the "Stealth is Invincible Planetary Armor" mechanic. It causes weird corner cases, and makes stealth into something that has little to do with secrecy, surreptitiousness, sneakiness, & slyness, but instead something blatant and functionally similar to shields -- ...
