must be a bug then, try later git (this could ruin your savegame)
I've tried several gits this week and havent experienced the problem

Just played a round with irregular 2, and I like it more than the predictable elliptical, there seems to be more map strategy with it.

You must have these species in your empire first (invade a colony of theirs) before you can populate an outpost or a colony ship with that species.

- The dark blue species color on black background is very hard to read for me (and probably a percentage of other people)
perhaps it can be adjusted by mixing some white in the dark blue

please adjust the galaxy defaults to what devs and AI devs use, I see that irregular 1/2 is used most?

some UI gripes/tips after playing 2 days; - I would like the current production queue and the research queue to be resizable like the other windows. so people can arrange them to their own UI preference. - The 'empires' icon at the top right could be a crown, theres a crown icon used in old versions...

a quick fix would be to reduce those booster multipliers, and to make boosters galaxy size dependent, so they are proportional

Yeah its annoying, in my experience, as in freeciv, you need to be careful with war and hold the empire line, and retreat the line back if need be, until you got proper strength to send some 5k/5k fleet into their centre to kill the industry core systems go for the blue/white/blackhole star solar sy...
