Derelict Scout

Hey, I had the feeling of scouting systems that I couldn't see at that point but didn't know why. I think I found out know, it seems to be the effect of the Derelict Scout. It increases the scouting radius, but the effect seems to be taken to the next system on the route that is 1 jump away in my ca...

Re: Head on a spike

How are you finding the solarweb? It's a new feature, I enjoyed playtesting it but it's a bit weird to get used to. I really like it! I now go more for the bio adaptive hull, because of it's great stealth and repair skills. Getting the lasers updated I can use them even at the end. With two neutron...

Re: Head on a spike

Unless you can give instructions about how to replicate this, or something about when / how it happens, not much can be done. No sorry, only thing I can tell is that it appears on click. Mostly it happens when I use the interface like the wiki or the objects, not when managing fleets. I don't think...

Head on a spike

Hey! I'm playing build.be6ee0e. I noticed a bug in the head on a spike effect. hoas.png A ship I had parking near a enemy HOAS got depleted by firepower until it reached 0. It went down 1 at a turn, so I guess you have the hoas effect set cumulative over turns. The build I played previous had the fi...

Re: recently introduced bug when colonizing or invading a pl

Hi,

yeah, confirm the meters are loose!
Playing latest build some minutes ago build 2016-02-01.fc99d7b
The colony ship is counting up 1 colonising strength per round and the coloring indicating survivability is incorrect.
Ahh, nice pix for the planet types, eyecandy! :D

Statuslog

Hey! Great Progress! I'm tested solarweb it seems to work, but I didn't do the maths =) You improved the statuslog that it won't jump back to the beginning when changing to the productionlist, great! Another thing I noticed that might improve gameplay, concering the log: - the frame only appears whe...

Situation Report

Hi,

Playing build.e7887b8 I just found out that double clicking the initial icons of the report rows, lets them disappear.
Seems no way to get them back...
I don't know if it's a feature or bug but didn't notice it before and just finding out accidentally =)
Greetings!

Re: Detection and Cloaking

Ah thanks I see. So the empire detection strength is only influenced by the scanner technology and that goes from 70 to 200 in the last step? Now I got up to 135 stealth with bioadaptive hull with phasing cloak having a sentient hull at the side. Maybe there are other combinations possible to furthe...

pure virtual method called

Hey, I experienced two crashes with build37e1897. Both with the message: "pure virtual method called terminate called without an active exception" First time I think I wanted to look something up in the wiki, second time I was in research an just clicked on the black hole collapser. It's not reprodu...

Detection and Cloaking

Hi, I'm playing Build 37e1897. I'm having an issue with Laenfa in a game. I have developed Sensors but the toprow shows empire detection range 70. I can't colonize planets that are cloaked with 85, although I have planets in the same system showing detection range 200. When I developed omniscanner I...

Re: Weapon Tiers

Hey,

just found out that the weapons of pet space monster get upgraded as well, when researching new weapontiers. Is this intended?
I had a kraken nest and my larval kraken suddenly had damage 7 with its laser, instead 5. 8)
Like it somehow

Re: The Experimentor Challenge

Hint: Sslith are telepathic, absolutely the best boost to early/mid game research output if you research the right tech ;-) Hehe, yeah I'm aware. That's the only way I was prepared in time, otherwise I would have had to conquer the chato even earlier... You need to turn the comsat to aggressive Ah,...

The Experimentor Challenge

Hey, I just had a very nice game of Freeorion [64fbc21], it was working fine as far as I can tell! It was challenging in a way... =)! Standard starting conditions, except only 2 AI (human, chato) and playing human. Only finding Gis Guf Gthrim and Sslith first was a bit difficult, but luckily I had e...

Re: Weapon Tiers

The icon graphics should probably modified, removing the "1" to avoid confusion.
Yup and in the design window, the weapon icon shows always Tier 1 strength.
That needs a connection to the actual state of weapon research as well.
