I'm too for whole system wide combat, because of more varied strategic options it allows: terrain, splitting of forces because of multiple targets, different planets,more importance on fleet manouvers and orbitals taking part in battles. With time/turn limits, it will work well.

Note that final graphics for all the basic technologies are to be done before we move to 0.4 - after that I want only do graphics for technologies relevant to that update. Idea was that you dont have that option/button visible with planets that you don't own, just the small view. That way seeing the whole picture is a reward that you get by colonising new systems.

Planet view is going to be redesined for 0.3 with lots of new data, we'll see how we place it then.
