There could be a problem with the drawing of the new starlane though.
As I have learned the lane-generation-code trys not to have overlapping lanes, or lanes intersecting not connected stars.
Maby artivicial lanes would have to have a different color or something the like.

Is there a list anywhere? In some Forums the Rank-List is in the FAQ, but here I can't fin one... I would say that this Forum ist very polarised, since there are many who just post a little and than go away, and some who post lot's and are very dedicated to this Project. I was aiming at the gravitational "Terraforming". I was wondering wether gravity was part of the wheel. If gravity is part of the wheel, then I'm confused, since gravity does not go in circles, but from 0 (empty space) to maxInt (or so). I would have thought that this is a different Issue. Gryvity d...

Is there anything like a gravitation ring, ähh string??
There could be some gravitational "Terraforming" efforts to make a planet mor suitable for your Race, which could mean that it becomes less suitable for others.

I would think that starlanes would need some stucture supporting them (like in Babylon 5).
So first of the sturctures would have to be build on both sides and are easy targets, so that no missuse like (create new starlane to enemy homeworld) is likely.

I thought we were talking about leesing/lending/selling ships you do not need anymore, since they are outdatet. - selling ships on a global market sound good (no abuse here) - leasing ships will make you pay some money for a couple of turn (if you loose the ship you still have to pay) - if you loose...

leasing ships coudl stop other empires from taking them appart to gain that technology (if this is implemented) or being carfull with them. If they are destroyed they would have to pay a greater ammount to accually by them (like with cars today) :wink:

There could also be an option like: Assemble warparty at Y unteil turn X than attack Z. So that you and all oyur allies can asseble there fleets at some position Y close to Z and than all move together at turn X. I would not like to turn over the control, since who tells me he wont demolish my fleet...

All avaiable fleets should at least have the option of joining the battle (and allies would propably want to) but still have total control over the own fleet. If the whole system is the battleground I would think all fleets in the system would HAVE TO join the battle. Or at least be on the battlesce...

I believe in MoO2 this was the case
