Outpost Bases are a completely normal and understandable part of the game.
Outpost Colonies are completely unnecessary to the game and should be removed.

For an AI script error, the regular client log and server log won't help much, we really need the log for the AI that had the error. Could you also just copy and paste the error message from the ingame messages window into a post here? All the AI log files are attached to the first post. I also pas...

Every time I try to attach a save game file it gives me an error about invalid extension
Must be only able to attach plain text docs maybe?

Robotic Interface Shield

OK, I've searched and I know I've seen it before but I can't find it again so...
What is the equation to calculate the strength of the RIS?

BTW, when you look up 'Shields' in the Pedia it does not mention the RIS.
Also, is there a way to 'search' the Pedia?

You don't really need that large of a fleet. I've used them effectively with SG hulls.

I propose that part of the population (between 80-90%) doesn't survive the conquest for balance purposes. That's harsh, and only something I'd be fine with as a stop-gap solution. While that might help to alleviate the snowball effect of early native planet conquest, the effects on later game warfa...
