I guess that Gentoo port is not needed... It's from source anyway and those using it are hardcore linuxoids who can comiple everything with ease.

You need .deb and different kinds of .rpm. Oh. Wesnoth has all of them.

Anyway how binaries from Lokigames work on all linux distros?

I think that providing autopackage resolves RPM based distros :) Of course it would. Only that the binary does not work and probably never will due to incompatible C++ ABIs :( This is one of the few things Windows can do better than Linux.
