Josh, would do a screencast for us?
Hm, July. I feel like a jerk not answering sooner...

The short and sweet of it is I don't know how to do a screencast :) . Much less a good, instructional screencast, but I'm sure I could learn how if it was necessary.

Nothing Google can't solve for you Josh. ;)

Looks fairly straightforward. Basically start the timelapse screencast tool, then start painting! Commentary is entirely optional.

Fraps is also an easy to use utility that does this as well :)

Well, April has been inaccurate ; )

Josh, we d love to take a look over your shoulder while you create a nebulae, I actually dont care if you talk during the recording or if you explain what you are doing, we probably would be able to comprehend much from just watching what you do.

You can do a screen-recording with

VLC:
Open VLC. Under the first "Media" menu select "Streaming...", then the Capture Device tab where you select "Desktop" for Capture Mode.
Then in the next menu select file and your preferred format.

or kdenlive, it will be more or less just pressing the record button and then it s all nebula creation : )
