Link to Scripting Patches in this Thread

This thread is designed to prevent scripting patches from getting lost and forgotten. This thread is essentially a to-do list of patches that need to be considered.

If you create a scripting patch for FreeOrion, please create a thread and describe and attach it there. Or if it is an outgrowth of a discussion thread, you can put in in that thread. You are not required to create a post for each patch here, but it is strongly recommended if your patch hasn't received some sort of response in a week.

What to include in this thread:
  • * Use a separate post for each patch.
    * Describe your patch in a sentence or two.
    * Provide a link to your patch.
    * Do not discuss the patches here, but in their original threads.
Process:
  • When a developer commits or rejects a scripting patch, it will be deleted from this thread.
Code patches can be posted here.

Example wrote:This patch adds a "Constitution Class" hull along with "Phasers" and "Deflector Shield" ship parts, and the related techs. (link)
(Note: this patch would be rejected, but not because of bad formatting.)

High Tech Natives starting with buildings

High Tech Natives will always have a "slimmed down" version of the cultural archives called cultural library and a 20% chance of the Scanning Facility building.

Advanced Ground Troop Pod

1. Nanotech Cybernetics unlocks the ship part "Advanced Ground Troop Pod", which has twice the cost and twice the capacity of the regular one.

2. The Self Defense tech (a starting tech) will grant a bonus of 0.2 troops per population instead of a flat 2 (which means that all planets with a population of more than 10 have more troops than before).

3. The Cyborgs tech will grant an additional bonus of 0.2 per population.

4. Natives will have troops calculated by 10 + 0.2 per pop (instead of a flat 12) (which again means that all planets with a population of more than 10 have more troops than before).
