That's actually not a terrible idea-the "difficulty" determines not just how many monsters they spawn and from when, but also what types of monsters they throw at you. Simple Great Kraken and Large Snowflakes are scary enough in numbers if you're new to the game.

Something to consider for when we get around to redoing the whole setup for them. At some point...
