After this will be merged and published, the delegate will login as himself and choose delegated empire in the in-game lobby.

The server was updated to 2019-10-27.f676837 latest test build. Update clients as well.

Other than upstream changes it includes fix for server freezes happened not so long and a new delegation support, where delegate uses his own credentials to enter the game.

For seventh game:

Most/some of us didn't like the abundance of monsters guarding specials. Setting monsters to low does not alter that. We could play next game with monsters, natives and specials set to low. Anyway, specials medium is already crazy regarding growth specials: they are everywhere.
Also I'd like to try a different galaxy shape. Ring seems a good choice for equalised multiplayer.

Empires Window: scroll or compact?

Would it be possible to add a scroll bar to the Empires window, and/or make it more compact somehow?

Maybe replace the at war/at peace/allied squares in three columns with the corresponding symbol in the empire color? That way there'd be a single column for diplomacy status.

Fore example, if the red empire was at war with the blue empire, at peace with the green, and allied with the orange, the display would look like:

name: WPA

where WPA would be replaced with the crossed sword, peace sign, and shield icons, but in the corresponding empire colors.

Other ideas are perfectly welcome, and of course it currently hardly matters for single-player. But, not having to have the window open all the way across the bottom of the screen would be nice.

Before 0.4.9 release and before first next weekly test build based on master branch server will follow release-0.4.9 branch. Moreover the server will follow 0.4.9 release until the current game or the next games started with 0.4.9 branch will be finished.

Next the server's version changes will be announced.

Additionally, at least one game on 0.4.9 version will be started after release.

I just wanted to mention that the weekly test builds will not be based on master, but on the release branch until the release is out.

Some changes about after-release games' schedule. There will be two games fully after release, one with predefined teams and other with free diplomacy.
