Annual Directory of Weed Empire

Our alliance with one of the rocky peoples and the peace with the other rocky people is being good. We expand in the galaxy like the solar wind. We found a true paradise in a very bright system, it's a dream come true.
We've met more weird people. Angry worms that like to kill themselves to breed more worms to be killed (it's a weird way to live life, but we don't judge so easily). Crystaline beasts that seem to think too much but say nothing of use, which clearly are up to no good and shall be watched from afar. Some disgusting plants that have neglected their true nature and walk around (eeeewwww) in some kind of metallic house, their heresy disturbs us. And probably the worse of they all, a herd of spacefaring lambs that like to kill plants to feed on their corpses. The galaxy is a tenebrous and evil place. We shall wipe out some of the evil, to sleep better at night, to give our lifes a greater purpose, not only expansion of the good, also extermination of the evil. We might start a religion to help everyone to understand.

The wanton destruction of the reconnaissance vessel "Friendship" has caused great uproar within the Elder Council of the Chato empire. Messages to High Matriarch Swaq, ruthless leader of the Eaxxaw, questioning about the reasons for this unprovoked attack, as well as the evident amassing of attack ships on the border of Chato space, have been deflected. Requests for a neutral zone have gone unanswered.

Th'Esilen'Tone, Elder of Chato Fleet Command (CFC), has thus ordered forces to defend native Chato territory, and push back Eaxxaw insurgents as neccessary.

Fragile Chato scout died tragically in a game of laser tag. It is Eaxaw custom to play with live ammunition but it seems this is not universally accepted.

Turn 45

Home planet has finally been rebuilt, but these youngsters just don't have the same work ethic. Well, at least that means they won't be dying out...

We "accidentally" crushed the Chato scout in our greeting attempt. Inter-species relations are now precarious. As compensation Th'Esilen'Tone, the fragile leader, has demanded a DMZ right in the middle of our supply line to our loyal allies. This is ridiculous and probably just a pretense for their impending attack. I am sure this probably can be solved with more ships.

The Weed is pissed off. Our exploratory mission to Alsafi beta, where previous scouting showed us just a maintenance ship, was met by a huge army of annoying invisible ships armed with lasers and shields that shred most of our ships to pieces. The owners were the L29Ah and Magnate empires. There's something fishy about them, those names...
In any case, we shall get revenge.
