Monster detection strength is equal to detection range, I've been told.
The flux bubble has some base stealth that increases when stationary and with stealth texh upgrades but decreases on the turns it's been traveling. Good to sneak past enemies if the starlane can be travelled in one turn, stopping on ant system before trying to sneak out.

Turn 15

We distracted the pesky blockade by throwing rocks and were able to sneak some ships past. Hopefully our intel is accurate and these ones aren't destroyed immediately as well. Intercepted communications are implying that some alliances have been formed. We may be forced to enter into one eventually to guarantee our survival.

We made a friend! It seems the proper galaxy etiquette is to announce your alliances across all unencrypted channels. Strange custom, to be sure. Operation Obliterate Precusor Pest is going slow but smoothly. Unfortunately after that one is down there are more waiting...

One pest down, colonization can commence. Information exchange with our new ally has revealed the outer reaches of several distinct governments. I am sure they will be happy to meet us.

Turn 30

A second pest has been vanquished. Colonization efforts are going well but we've been working way too hard. Although the the mandatory 100 hour work week rule has been lifted it seems many can't adjust to having free time again and are continuing to work themselves to death.

Our colonists are thriving, but our homeworld is doomed. Perhaps we should have relaxed our immigration laws sooner...
