Does it not work by (within multiplayer) going to unavailable designs, save the one not showing for you, going back to available designs?

Also, my linux compiled-from-source build doesn't forget server cookies, my Windows downloaded build forgets it every time I close the client.

No, it's not in unavailable. It's in "All known designs" and I cannot do anything with those. Also, I have multiple duplicates of the same design in the "Saved designs" section. Talk about Freeorion's anti-duplicate checking, lol.

It's a Linux compiled-from-source build and it forgets cookies only when I enter another game (singleplayer).

So, you are at turn 100, you got the sitrep "Tech X has been unlocked", you save and close the game, you reload the game, which is still at turn 100, but you get a sitrep for turn 101?

If you can't attach a .sav, fool it with a different extension or compress to zip.

Sorry, kid has a broken arm since a week and I spent 5 hours waiting in hospital so they have another look at it.
