For big teams it does, for small ones sometimes it gets even worse since the good/lucky empires ending in the same team has no solution when teams can't change.

Another falacy. Some could be wiped out sooner than others. Do not put on the same shelf playing with a whole empire 'til the end and lingering in a corner with a scout while your team mates control tens of colonies and ships.

The point here is not trying to convince others to always play with fixed teams, it's about allowing you to play more than just fixed teams, because that will indeed mean you'll have to wait months without playing. Because we are gonna play without fixed teams at least half of the games. You know that, right?

Without predefined teams same could be managed by winners count.

It pipes PP you spent on it to the stockpile.
Its hardcoded in processing the build queue. grep for something like PROJECT or STOCKPILE

I dont think stockpile transfer ever decided a player-vs-player game. If you want to find out just play some (single-player) games with Sly not caring much about the supply networks, that is the one place where using stockpile is often necessary.

I would try on release not on master though - influence really hinders disconnected empires there.

edit1: ah, just saw your other post. you were talking about piping PP to another empire. If you meant to their imperial stockpile, the main problem is getting stuff out of it, not into it. If you talk about "normal" PP distribution, we would need some kind of uniform allied supply first - treating supply groups blocked only by allied supply to be considered a single supply group. You could open a feature request for that and a start a discussion in "Other Game Design".

Abaddoni are fine if you find Kobuntura natives nearby... those feel even more OP than Trith: self-sustaining and great industry.

If I don't find Kobuntura nearby my HW I will open an issue about Kobuntura being OP.
