Understanding how the new mechanisms affect balance is one of my goal in this game so balance issues are not that much a problem, but tackling the one I was able to spot on my first test game (in single player) would still be better I believe.
Propaganda broadcast was added, but you'll need to open a social slot via either architectural psychology or mind in the void.

I'm playing a test game in Single Player with the same version and I see the multi-player chat, is that normal ?

Yes, it doesn't clear when you change the game.

Suddenly the server was shutdown. Restarted it.

How is it going for you, pals? For me, turn 7 and I still didn't find a planet for colonization (no good, no adeqs, no natives). I guess I'll rush Exobots.

I've got access to a good, sort of, the location is not convenient... Bit behind in research. Guessing most people took centralization. I didn't because, well, reasons.

I tried to launch the multiplayer game while forgetting that I was disconnected from the internet and FO crashed with this message :

For me there are mostly small planets around. A few medium, which all are hostile and one large which is hostile and monster guarded. Wish I would be the sly one...

By the way: I run into an strange bug at turn 12. Suddenly my home world produces 5 IP instead of 3 IP. The meter shows: +3 IP for Imperial Palace and +5 unknown :?:
As I run my 2nd PC it's not possible for me to take a snapshot (which would show to much of my master plan, actually). Maybe geoff can watch that as observer and tell me what's going on.

I found my first neighbour (I see the lights from afar) and my first small, adeq planet. It's turn 13.

That means, that checksum calculation did not wait for all parsers which use or define named values. I highly suspect policies not being part of checksum. Will put up a PR soonish. see PR-3455
Any code or patches in anything posted here is released under the CC and GPL licences in use for the FO project.
