In research queue we see three numbers.
+9.15 / 16.7 8 Turns .
9.15 is the research 'points' that my 'empire' 'produces' .
What is the meaning of : 16.7 RP ?
In the production queue we see two production control variables
and three numbers.
1T / 1x
+10.4 / 24.7 PP 3 Turns
The 2nd control variable , multiplies PP (24.7) by factors of 2,3,4 .. so effectively making the procuction last more turns.
So where 24.7PP comes from?
Also assuming i make production slower do i save PPs ?
Also what does the 1st control variable does? (in my case nothing changes in the queue image.

Re: (Newbie) Meaning of numbers in production and research queues
Each item that you research has a total RP required and a minimum turn. In the case of SB that 100 RP and 6 turns, so the MOST you can devote to that in a turn is 16.7. You don't make enough RP to do that so you get the indication that you are devoting 9.15 out of a max of 16.7.

Maximum number of RP that you can allot to this tech.
If you get 17+ RP then excess RP will go to another tech.
First is number of times you want to queue this production.chomwitt wrote: ↑Wed Jun 09, 2021 9:01 pm In the production queue we see two production control variables

Second is the number of instances of what you're building that you want to build simultaneously.
Like 2, 3, 4,... ships of the same design in one lot.
