Enterprise canceled

#1 Post by noelte »

:(

I guess this is the right place todo my Rant and Rave.

I hate them.

The decision seems final, but as last year, people will try to save enterprise.

It's really a great show, maybe the greatest out of the Star Trek franchise.

Really? I haven't watched it much past the first season. It's all I can do to keep up with stargate.

It wasn't released into pubilc tv yet. Only on Upn and another channel. Now it sold to public channels. Maybe this will help enterprise staying alive.

To be honest I am not very suprized or angered, Trek has been going downhill since Voyager and I think it was overdoing it to so imediatly produce the 5th series. What I would rather see is a DS9 movie or two.

It's their intro that really bugs me. Every time I hear it it makes me think of Friends or some other trash sitcom. Who made the decision to use some trite pop song in their intro anyway?

Well at least we still have StarGate, which will likely never get cancelled.

Actually now I remember this Star Trek. It's the one with Scott Bakula. I've only seen the first series. Seemed very interesting.

Hey has anyone seen that other series that was cancelled, called Firefly. I quite liked that, had some good characters and was kinda funny at times, plus some episodes were well done I thought.

i think it's a pity that they canceled enterprise. i really liked it, even more than ds9 or voy(both needed 4 seasons until it became interesting to watch). they are showing the end of the third season here in germany, so there is only one season left. well, i'll miss it.

9th season of sg-1
I'm not sure. I guess we have to wait until next week to see the pilot of atlantis.

Regarding ST:E, the first two seasons weren't very good. But season three marked a turn around. And seeing Data (Brent Spiner) in the fourth seasons was really great. Btw. the intro thema had changed from season two to three. I like the original better...

Didn't know about that. It's a little bit odd. I thought the sg1 team would switch to SG:Atlantis. Most series end after 7 seasons.

Enterprise is watchable, thou it will only air here probably sometime within the next 10 years or so as usual, if at all.

Farscape was lot better, naturally of course it got cancelled...

Firefly was a bit odd, didnt really like it but it was watchable at times.

I liked the western/space theme of Firefly. Kinda like Cowboy Bebop (western/space anime). And Firefly had some good funny moments.

One the episodes I saw, the one where their ships engines stop working and they run out of air, they need a part to make the engines work, etc, send crew away on life rafts, leave captain behind, etc etc. That was a cool ep.
