I just recently found this youtube video that at least claims to be an interview with Simtex`s legendary game designer Steve Barcia:
…but since I have never seen a picture of Steve Barcia I can`t really be sure that the man in the video is really him.
Anyway I do agree what he says about a successful game getting people to talk about their game like it was some sort of history or like a past real life experience, because it truly shows that the player has felt like he/she was a part of the game world, and not just killing time with some irrelevant game when he/she had nothing better to do.
Talk about anything and everything related or unrelated to the FreeOrion project, especially Strategy Games.
