hello from schpidi

#1 Post by schpidi » Mon Feb 18, 2013 6:34 pm

Hi together :-)

first of all I have to say that I am glad that I found this game and this community! :-)
All who worked on this game did a very good job!

My name is Andi and I live in Bavaria / Germany (Brezls, Beer and Oktoberfest *g*).

Because I like this game very much, I also will try to help improving it.
My focus will be:
- Complete the german translation of the current build (currently I estimate < 50% are finished)
(the previous translaters did a good job, but a lot of new technology and building descriptions and expecially long pedia texts are still missing because its particularly quite new stuff there)
- Playing very large games and test performance
- Later: maybe do some programming, if wanted

Sorry for my bad english :-)

Cheers
schpidi

Welcome to FO. I think there are some vague plans to optimize some of the turn processing stuff, so performance testing in large galaxies should be useful in that regard.
Warning: Antarans in dimensional portal are closer than they appear.

Always. We're notoriously short on programmers.
