Online voice chat meeting, Monday December 28th 2020

#1 Post by Vezzra »

Tomorrow (28th) is the last Monday of this month (and in this case, also of the year ;)), so it's time again for our online voice chat meeting. Usual time and "place":

Monday December 28th 2020, 7pm UCT or 8pm Vienna/Berlin time

Jitsi room: https://meet.jit.si/ThoroughNovembersConvertPossibly

Agenda:
  1. Python FOCS replacement (suggested by o01eg already for last meeting, but we didn't get around to it, so I thought we should put it on the agenda of this meeting as the first item - @o01eg, it would be good if you could attend)
  2. Godot client - we are currently a bit stuck, maybe we can figure out how to proceed (for this it would also be good if o01eg could attend)
  3. The usual "anything else that comes to mind"
Feel free to suggest additional topics here in this thread.

This is about two things, o01eg needs an example to base his parsers on as he was asking in a forum thread, e.g.

forum post.

Geoff suggested starting with something very easy, just key & values, e.g. creating a CreateTech api function for passing in something simple.

The other thing is about a PR which o01eg wants to have merged (TBC).
Any code or patches in anything posted here is released under the CC and GPL licences in use for the FO project.

Look, ma... four combat bouts!
