planetary focus drop down menu lags sometimes

at turn 60+ in a game with 70 systems I get a 1 second lag when I press the focus button.

my idea is to put all the buttons on the right of the current focus one and just highlight the one active and put a thin white square around it
and also some hotkeys, like Q W E R T Y for research/industry/growth etc, and SHIFT+Q for system wide change. CTRL+SHIFT+Q EMPIRE WIDE CHANGE (OMFG THE POWER????)

A button where you could change the focus of the whole system would be nice too

A button to change the focus of all planets you own

an in-game menu where you can set the focus for every race you own, example:
race1 always industry
race2 always research
race3 always industry
race4 always growth
etc

a drop down menu for ship production waypoints. you produce them at planet A and set the staging waypoint to another planet, or even an empty deep space pocket.

I really love this game, been playing it a lot.

Several / most of you requests can be accomplished using the objects screen. Set the filters to show appropriate planets, then use the right click menu to set focus.
